What Our Health Educators Do

Health Educators at the Health Department are committed to improving the health and well-being of our communities. They work to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease across all stages of life.

Our Health Educators collaborate with schools, community organizations, workplaces, and healthcare providers to deliver accurate, accessible, and culturally appropriate health information. Key focus areas include nutrition, physical activity, diabetes education, tobacco prevention, mental health, and more.

Through community outreach and data-driven strategies, Health Educators identify local health needs and empower individuals and families to make informed decisions that support long-term health and wellness.
