Breastfeeding with WIC

Through the WIC program, participants can receive individualized breastfeeding counseling during pregnancy through weaning. Our Lactation professionals are here to help with a variety of concerns, such as:

· Prenatal breastfeeding education

· Latching and positioning

· Milk supply

· Pumping

· Nutrition while breastfeeding

· And more!

For more advanced breastfeeding consultations, visits will be billed as Medical Nutrition Therapy. At this time, our agency can only bill Kentucky Medicaid insurance. For those that do not have Medicaid, visits will be billed asself-pay, using our Sliding Scale Fee Schedule.
