WebMail-How to check your email over the internet

Webmail is a system you can use via the Internet to access your email account from a remote location.

How it Works:

Step 1

  • Log on to the Email server by typing the URL https://mail.brdhd.org Upon accessing the URL, the Microsoft Outlook Web Access page will appear (Figure A)

Step 2

  • At this page you will then see a "Username and Password" box (figure B). In the User name type in your username FirstName.LastName, then your password in the next field.
  • Ex., User name  Trisha.Woodcock
This is the same username and password you use at your office to log on to the network.

  • Next choose Sign in.

Step 3

  • You will then be taken to a screen (Figure C) that asks if you have low vision and use a screen reader or high contrast settings, most users will not need to check this box.  You are then asked to choose your preferred Language and Time zone.  You should not have to change any of these settings, they should be already set to English and Central Time Zone.
  • Next, click OK
