WebMail-How to check your email
over the internet
Webmail
is a system you can use via the Internet to access your email account
from a remote location.
How it Works:
Step 1
- Log on to the
Email server by typing the URL
https://mail.brdhd.org Upon accessing the URL, the Microsoft
Outlook Web Access page will appear (Figure A)

Step 2
- At this page
you will then see a "Username and Password" box (figure B).
In the User name type in your username
FirstName.LastName, then your password in the next field.
- Ex., User name
Trisha.Woodcock
This is
the same username and password you use at your office to log on to
the network.
- Next choose
Sign in.

Step 3
- You will then
be taken to a screen (Figure C) that asks if you have low vision and
use a screen reader or high contrast settings, most users will not
need to check this box. You are then asked to choose your
preferred Language and Time zone. You should not have to
change any of these settings, they should be already set to English
and Central Time Zone.
- Next, click OK

Step 4
- You will then
be taken to a web version of your Microsoft email (figure D).
- Once you
access your Microsoft Outlook Web Mail account, you will be able to
check unopened mail and send mail from your account.
You will not be able to access your personal folders
in Outlook.
