April Employee of the Month

Monica Hunt has been selected as April’s Employee of the Month.  Sharon Estaver, who nominated Monica said, “You can always count on her, no matter what the task!”  Sharon also commended Monica for doing the tax, budget and annual financial statements for the Butler County Health Department.

Monica started her career at the Barren River District Health Department on July 3, 1995 in Butler County.  She worked there until transferring to the Warren County Health Department in 1997.  Monica made a full circle in her career when she returned to the Butler County Health Department in August of 2003, as the Center Coordinator and head nurse.  “Working with the people” is what Monica enjoys most about working at the health department. 

Monica has been married to her husband, Keith for 31 years.  She enjoys spending her spare time gardening and working in her flowers.  But, her favorite past time is playing with her Sheltie, Vynce.
