Selina Blick chosen Employee of the Year

Selina Blick was chosen for August Employee of the Month; Selina was nominated by Teresa Hendricks.  Teresa said, “Selina goes above and beyond the call of duty just about everyday.  She is the hardest worker I have ever supervised.  Selina was hired two years ago; she hit the floor running and hasn’t slowed down.  She does a great job at everything she does, she’s full of great ideas and creativity, which is vital in the job we do.  I can’t say enough about how great of an employee she is, how much she is devoted to our agency and what a wonderful person she is.”

Selina started with BRDHD in August of 2005 with the Community Health Promotion Branch and is based in Logan County.  She said her favorite thing about her job is, “With my position, I get to go out and connect with people.  I get to talk to them about ways to prevent health issues, which gives them the power to make better choices for their own life.”

Selina is a Logan Countian at heart even though she spent her school years living in different parts of the US (due to the fact that her father was in the Air Force).  When asked where she is originally from Selina stated,  “Even though I didn’t grow up in Logan County; Logan County is where I am from because this is where my family lived,” Selina currently lives in Logan County with her husband, Bryan, their two children, Colten, 6, Syndi, 2 and their Yorkies.  Selina’s hobbies are playing and coaching a variety of sports and cooking.
