CERT/MRC Trainings                        
 

May 15th                 Community Emergency Response Team & Medical Reserve Corps team quarterly training will be at the Bowling Green Fire Department Training Center on Porter Pike starting at 6 pm.  This training will cover the National Incident Management System and CERT organization.  For more information or to RSVP contact Janarae Conway at 270-781-8039, ext. 155.

May 7th                   Community Emergency Response Team & Medical Reserve Corps team training will be at the Bowling Green Towers starting at 2:30 pm.  The topic to be covered is Disaster Medical Operations Part 1, will teach participants about the three killers during a disaster, how to treat them, how to set up a treatment site and triage.  For more information contact Janarae Conway at 270-781-8039, ext. 155.

May 21st                 Community Emergency Response Team & Medical Reserve Corps team training will be at the Bowling Green Towers starting at 2:30 pm.  The topic to be covered is Disaster Medical Operations Part 2, which will teach the participants some basic first aid to assist their neighbors until First Responders can arrive.

May 28th                 Community Emergency Response Team & Medical Reserve Corps team training will be at the Bowling Green Towers starting at 2:30 pm.  The topic to be covered is Light Search and Rescue, which will teach the participants damage assessment, how to do a proper search, and how to remove victims from debris.  For more information contact Janarae Conway at 270-781-8039, ext. 155.
