Community-Based Health Education Programs

The Barren River District Health Department provides group health education and promotion activities targeted toward the general population.  Program topics in this area include: personal safety, stress management, fitness, sexually transmitted diseases, cardiovascular disease and HIV/AIDS education for both the general community and for Health Professionals.  The HIV/AIDS program for Health Professionals fulfills the two-hour CEU requirement.
