A New Logo
for BRDHD

District Health
Director Dennis Chaney announced today that the agency adopted a new
logo design, to be used by public health facilities across the
eight-county service area.
"Staff designed and voted on the agency’s
new logo,” stated Health Information Director Crissy Rowland, “The new
logo emphasizes the basic components of the work we do. Virtually every
service provided by our staff falls under one or more of the categories
of promotion, protection, or prevention. That is our core mission. The
three circles are intertwined to emphasize that these three activities
go hand in hand to keep our community healthy.”
The new logo will be
integrated into the Department’s stationary, publications, and website
during the few months.
The Barren River Health District serves residents of Barren, Butler,
Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Simpson, and Warren Counties, through
